SUPER GRANDMA

SUPER GRANDMA

Her parents do not know the exact date of her birth; accordingly she was a small girl during World War II. She remembered how they transferred  from  one place to another during the Japanese invasion. After the war her dad was killed in the village because of suspicion that he practiced witchcraft. Marriages were arranged during her teen age year thus she was married at a very young age. She gave birth to 13 good looking children (most of them are married now and have grandchildren). Her late husband was from the other village thus she had to follow. Her husband died in a car accident recently.

Evangelist Amador Padcheco was thirsty and went to ask water at their house then the Holy Spirit worked—She become a believer and God give me the privilege to meet this super grandmother  Mokging Puclis.

She donated a piece of land where our church to be constructed. At her age she helped when we labeled  the land; cook food for volunteers and opens her house for visitors. She lived a simple life but generous to offer what she has. Poverty is not a hindrance to help as long as we eat, we have something to give.

Her dream is to see the church building finished  before going to heaven; paganism is still strong in their village but one day she hopes that the Gospel will prosper that all her grandchildren will be active workers in the Lutheran  mission.
