FIRST BAPTISM IN BETHANY

Bethany Lutheran Missional Church in Wallayan, Bagulin, La Union just celebrated its first Baptism in their new building. Although the building has temporary roofing, the members and one dedicated family accomplished baptism of three children last Saturday, October 19, 2019.

The celebration was full of joy and relief for the church we built is already moving forward; God used this building for the Word to do wonders. Some families are already requesting for another baptism. Baptism saves for the Word of God is powerful.

As their pastor, the feeling of witnessing people to have joy because of baptism cannot be explained. Satan will work also to destroy God’s work but the joy the Word gives is far greater and powerful than the devil.
