A New Year in the Mountain

Starting from scratch by having three rides-a jeepney, a bus, and a tricycle- before reaching this place, all we had was faith. We started with only four people attending our worship and Bible studies. Over the days and months God worked by  giving dedicated men to lead and continue the mission works when access to this place  became extremely difficult due to pandemic.

Today the work is growing and people are already understanding the Word.

Lay leaders emerged and are happily proclaiming God’s Word. They embraced leadership roles. Despite my  difficulties and limitations going to the mountains,   the work is still sustainable because of God's power. People are now engaged and are actively studying God’s word. Kudos to our evangelists-Talban and Amador.

During the Christmas celebration, members came to celebrate Jesus' birth. All of the activities were planned by the congregation themselves and I am so happy because it was very successful.

May God continue taking care of the people in the mountains. People that are close to my heart and people who are dear to God.

It's a new year again. Despite and and in spite of everything, this new year brings new hope. Hope that does not disappoint because God is always with us.
