Giving Despite hardship

Giving despite Hardships

Proclaiming God’s glory is not an easy task; the world hates the Word. The world loves pleasure and sin, thus; speaking about God’s love invites hatred and persecution. However, in spite of  these realities, God still chooses His representatives to continue the mission He began when Jesus His son came into this world. The world hates love but God still gives love to all men.

We are a very small Lutheran mission organization preaching God’s salvation. Despite our minuteness, I have experienced and witnessed God's providence many times while working as an independent church planter.  Indeed, the giver of life provides the necessities to continue doing God’s mission.

Last week, one dedicated believer working abroad joyfully donated hymnals written in our language. Her name is Rhoda Juan from the mountains of Benguet and La Union. Her life then was difficult but she sacrificed and persevered to finish her education in the city. After graduating from college she worked abroad to help her family. Despite the pandemic she still volunteered to provide Ilocano hymnals in the mountain.

Her action gives an inspiration because we can always help in the expansion of God's kingdom regardless of our status in life. Thank you Sis. Rhoda Juan for the love and sacrifice. May your tribe increase.
