Daily Devotion by Judah Palangyos

The greatest temptation of the devil is "good life." There was a farmer ones who kept on praying every night. He always ask mercy from the Lord, "Lord have mercy upon us. Kindly bless us that we may also serve you well." That was his line every night and were attending mass with his family every Sunday. One day, he started a poultry. Then the Lord heard his prayer and blessed the farmer. His poultry grew and had provided big income to the farmer's family. As his poultry grew, the farmer became busy with his business even on Sundays. He would tell his wife, "Go and attend the church. If I go who will feed the chickens." That goes on until the farmer forgot the Lord. Come the judgement day, his wife and kids are taken by Christ. The farmer is left behind. He asked Christ, "Why don't you take me? I'm a believer too." Christ answered, "If I'll take you. Who will feed your chickens?" Are you that farmer? Good evening...❤
