Daily Devotion by Judah Palangyos

Although there’s a law that needs to be implemented, we should implement it in a way that the teachings of Christ will not be violated. Yes, local governments have the right to protect public lands from illegal settlers. But they don’t have the right to abuse the rights of the natives who have been there before this government was created. How can the government say that they love their fellow human being as themselves if they engage in displacing these natives? Jesus even said that, “That if your neighbor needs clothes, give him your cloak.” For all I know, the government’s responsibility is to protect the rights of the citizens so that they may practice their belief and religion. They should not be an agent of the devil to sow to their constituents’ hatred against the government. For they are pushing them to commit a sin for every government is God ordained. Be a Christian more than a human being; let us not pursue this demolition in this time of pandemic. Good morning…❤
