A Glimpse of our Church Planting Site By Jordan Palangyos Our church planting site is in Wallayan and Delles, La Union, Philippines, a two-hour trip from my home. I live in Baguio City, Philippines (a former American Base). From home, I have to travel by taxi to go to the bus station. I ride a bus and transfer to a tricycle when we reach town center. BAPTISM AFTER SEMINAR God is amazing and wonderful for the mission is alive and moving. One whole family and six individuals decided to have their Baptism last Sunday. Other believers will follow on the 27 th this month. The pandemic and other problems cannot stop God’s Word; problems could slow us down but it can never stop the wisdom and power of God. Do children have a right under the Gospel to Church-membership by Baptism? 1 The Church-membership of children was directly instituted and positively commanded by the Lord himself as far back as the time of Abraham, in a covenant made with him, called expressly the Gospel, or covenant of grace, which Church-membership was not only not revoked by Jesus Christ, but was confirmed and established by him. 2 Children are included in the promise connected with that covenant. 3 Children are included in Christ’s invitation, and declared to he fit subjects for the New Testament Church or kingdom. 4 Children are included in Christ’s original command commissioning and authorizing his ministers to administer the Sacrament of Baptism. 5 Children are the lambs of Christ’s flock, as their parents are the sheep of his fold, and, therefore, their relation both to the Shepherd and to the flock forbids that they should be excluded from the fold. 6 Children were included in the host of the...

REST IN PEACE LOLA PAYAY Another great grandma was taken to heaven this week; Lola Payay, 77 years old, a very devoted Lutheran is joyfully rejoicing with the other saints in heaven. It’s sad for the family but she is now in heaven; a place where sickness and sin are eliminated and only joy, peace and love reign. The policemen at the check points allowed people who finished vaccination to enter freely. God used me to bring the Word and comfort to the family. We will be seeing all our loved ones when Christ return.

Kapangan - Faith Comes From Hearing

Judah Palangyos arranged my safe travel and stay for a few days in Kapangan. "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." Philippians 2:13 Upon my arrival in Kapangan I was greeted by his energetic and compassionate mother. I had been suffering from a stomach virus and hadn't been able to eat much food for about a week. Mrs. Palangyos had many fun stories and curiosity to share with me. She is also a very good cook, going out of her way to find foods I could intake and aid in my recovery from the stomach virus. Judah arranged my speaking at the Kapangan Central High School for opening ceremony in front of the entire student body, 400+ students.
